This term we will be learning about toys and technology.
Some questions we will try to answer are:
What is a toy?
Is a computer (iPod, iPad etc) a toy? When is it not a toy?
How has technology changed the way we play?
What is the difference between a toy and a game?
Please enjoy the video of Peter Paul and Mary singing ‘The Marvellous Toy”.
Tell us about a marvellous toy that you have owned.

Dear 3DD
I remember this song. I heard it when I was younger and went to school in Ballarat.
Cheers

I have heard a lot about the toys since term started.
Kadyn and i have different opinions on what a toy is. I think a computer and ipod etc. are not toys, however they can be used to play, they are not the same as a board game or doll.
I think its will be interesting to see the difference of opinions that the adults have compared to the kids.

Kia Ora,
Room 2 believe that technology has made toys reflect life, especially gaming games . That why we believe that kids play for hours in front of a television screen.
We also believe that both ipods and ipads are toys when the user doesn’t create anything with them.Whereas, using an applications to make something like a movie, it is not a toy.
